At York Nursery & Primary School, we are dedicated to helping parents raise happy and healthy children. Located in the heart of Bugiri District, Uganda, we have been nurturing young minds since February 5, 2001.

Our school blends a strong foundation in the National Curriculum (NCDC) with innovative technology, making learning engaging, effective, and future-ready.

We strive to inspire our learners to dream big, explore more, achieve greater heights, and grow into confident, capable individuals on their life’s journey.

How we Learn!

Primary One- Three

At York Nursery & Primary School , Primary One to Three pupils use tablets for interactive learning, enhancing literacy, numeracy, and creativity through engaging apps and digital lessons. With guided supervision, they develop critical thinking and digital skills while enjoying personalized, fun, and accessible education.

Primary one-Seven

York Nursery & Primary School uses Smartboard technology from Primary One to Seven to make learning interactive and engaging. Pupils benefit from dynamic visuals, hands-on activities, and digital tools, enhancing creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. This prepares them for a modern, tech-driven world while keeping education fun and effective.

Computer Library

York Nursery & Primary is a modern school with a well-equipped computer library offering high-speed internet. It provides students with rich educational resources and supports teachers with advanced research tools. The library fosters innovation, creativity, and academic excellence in a technology-driven environment.

Our School Fees Structure!

Day school : P.1-P.6

York Nursery & Primary School has a day section for parents who do not prefer their children to be boarders. All our children attend classes together.

Children who live far away from our district and those within the district might choose to attend boarding school. We have enough bed space to accommodate any number.
